พี่น้องที่เคารพรัก
ในช่วงนี้พวกเรากำลังประสบกับปัญหาอันใหญ่หลวงซึ่งส่งผลให้เกิด ความเครียดความวิตกกังวลว่าประเทศไทยและประชากรจะเป็นอย่างไรในอนาคต เมื่อเดือนที่แล้ว พ่ออยู่ที่ กรุงเทพและพ่อเองก็ได้เห็นเหตุการณ์การปิดล้อมสถานที่ต่างๆ ที่นั่น และก็รู้สึกถึงความน่ากลัวเมื่อเห็นผู้คนวิ่งบนถนนและได้ ยินเสียงปืนดังก้องทั่วถนน ซึ่งไม่ต้องสงสัยเลยว่า กลุ่มชุมชนวัดของเราก็รู้สึกวิตกกังวลไม่น้อยต่อสภาพของความขัดแย้งและการ ต่อสู้ที่กำลังเกิดขึ้น
สถานการณ์เช่นนี้เป็นเวลาที่เราแต่ละคนต้องตระหนักถึงคำ สั่งขององค์พระเยซูคริสตเจ้าที่ทรงตรัสว่าจงรักเพื่อนมนุษย์เหมือนรักตัวเรา เองอย่างพินิจพิเคราะห์ และทำให้ต้องพิจารณาทำให้ เป็นจริงในชีวิตเพื่อที่เราจะมีส่วนในการประสานความสามัคคีและนำสันติกลับมา สู่บ้านเมืองของเราและทำให้เกิดความเท่าเทียมกันมากกว่าที่เป็นอยู่

ที่ใดมีความสิ้นหวัง ให้ข้าพเจ้าเป็นผู้นำความหวัง
ที่ใดมีความมืด ให้ข้าพเจ้าเป็นผู้นำความสว่าง
ที่ใดมีความเศร้าโศก ให้ข้าพเจ้าเป็นผู้นำ ความยินดีเบิกบานใจ
ข้าแต่พระเป็นเจ้า โปรดให้ข้าพเจ้าเป็นผู้บรรเทา มากกว่าจะเป็นผู้รับการบรรเทา
เห็นใจผู้ อื่นมากกว่าจะรับความเห็นใจ
รักผู้อื่นก่อนและมากกว่าที่จะให้คนอื่นรัก ข้าพเจ้า
ผู้ที่ให้เท่านั้น จะได้รับความอิ่มเอิบยินดี
ผู้ ที่ยกโทษให้เท่านั้น จะได้รับการอภัยโทษ
ดังนี้เมื่อเราตาย จะได้ไปสู่พระราชัย ของพระองค์ชั่วนิรันดร
ขอให้เราแต่ละคนไม่ว่าเราเป็นเยาวชน หรือผู้ใหญ่ จะรวยหรือว่าจน จะ อยู่ในเมืองหรือในชนบท อย่าลืมว่าองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าประทับอยู่ทุกที่และทุกสิ่งเป็นไปได้โดยพระผู้ เป็นเจ้า อย่างไรก็ตามเราต้องเชื่อและปฏิบัติตาม สิ่งที่เราเชื่อ

Dear friends,
During this time, we are experiencing a lot of issues that make all of us anxious and worried for the future of the country and the Thai people. Last month, when I was in Bangkok, I also witnessed the chaotic state that was taking place in the capital city, and also felt fearful as I saw people running down the streets and heard the noise of gunfire taking place on the city streets. Our church community undoubtedly feels a lot of the stress and the anxiety due to the state of conflict and division that is happening.
It is in times like this that each of us must remember the commandment of Jesus to love our neighbors as ourselves even more intently. And as part of this, each of us must think of something concrete to do in order to contribute to bring peace and harmony back to Thailand, and even more abundantly than before.
Our church has been praying fervently for peace in our Sunday and weekday masses, as well as holding a special prayer program for peace on the first Saturday of June. We trust that our honest and heartfelt prayers will be listened by God who sends the Holy Spirit to help create peace from disharmony, life from death, and renewal from destruction.
The Spirit of Peace lives among us and is working incessantly for the cause of peace in the world. However, the Spirit cannot work alone, but needs each of us to collaborate in this difficult and strenuous work. How can we collaborate with the Holy Spirit? In this, let us turn to the Prayer of St. Francis for inspiration and direction.
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon:
where there is doubt, faith ;
where there is despair, hope
where there is darkness, light
where there is sadness, joy
O divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Amen.
May each of us, whether young or old, rich or poor, city dwellers or village folks, not forget that in God, everything is possible. However, we must believe, and take actions that come from that belief.
