Three Minute Reflection: Feeling Beautiful Inside and Out


According to writer Kimberly Snyder, eating the right foods not only improves physical appearance, but also gives a much needed boost to self-esteem.  “I believe the word ‘health’ is synonymous with the word ‘beauty,’” Snyder said in USA Weekend magazine.     To find your own inner beauty through a healthy diet, here are some nutritional tips:* Cut out the soda.  Soda adds unwanted calories.
* Load up on red peppers.  Red peppers are full of Vitamins A and C, which prevent cell damage and premature aging.
* Add fresh herbs.  Herbs such as cilantro and parsley can help remove unhealthy toxins from the body.
* Less acidity, more alkalinity.  Studies show food higher in alkalines is not only delicious, but produces shinier heads of hair.
* Count on kale.  Kale is a powerful antioxidant and blood cleanser.
    Remember, cleanliness is next to godliness, so keep your body healthy and clean.  You’ll feel more beautiful inside and out. Take care of your health.
